Astrology September 2015! A month that will bring change, a time to reflect about how we relate to others, find time to grow spiritually and the opportunity to direct the path that we want to take...

Two eclipses will occur in September 2015.  A Partial Solar Eclipse under the New Moon in Virgo on September 13, 2015 will propose change in our daily routines, and a Total Lunar Eclipse with a Full Moon in Aries & Sun in Libra on September 28^th 2015, will stimulate our way to relate with others and people we love.

Four planets are in retrograde motion during this month. Retrograde is a term that explains when a planet appears to rotate in reverse in our universe from the perspective of Earth which is also in movement around the Sun. In astrology the planet offers us during this time an opportunity to put something in perspective according to the sign and the area that the planet crosses in our Birth Chart* and the energy associated with the planet in question.

This month the following planets will be in retrograde motion:

• Uranus in Aries is associated with our progress revealing that we need to keep our unique way of thinking to participate in the groups to which we belong;

• Neptune in Pisces asks us to awaken our spirituality and connect with our spirit through an activity that gives us peace;

• Pluto in Capricorn asks us to discipline ourselves and thoroughly investigate our fears to be in control of our internal power.

• Interestingly, Venus which has been retrograde in Leo for a period of approximately six weeks, switches to direct motion on Sunday September 6; and Mercury that is passing through the sign of Libra (sign ruled by Venus) will begin a retrograde movement on September 18, 2015, which will end the second week of October 2015. To me, they are two sides of the same coin associated with the way we express ourselves in our relationships. It is Energy that suggests we relate warmly, with generosity and nobility (Venus in Leo), and negotiating so that both parties benefit equally (Mercury in Libra).

Responsible Saturn changes to visionary Sagittarius to stay for approximately two years. 

From this sign, Saturn requires us to build a picture and a future with what we have, setting goals based on what we can actually do in the long term; Questioning our priorities, and structuring our responsibilities to give importance to what really deserves it.

Altruistic Jupiter and Mystic Neptune will be in opposition throughout the month of September, under the Virgo / Pisces polarity, inviting us to grow in the area of ​​spirituality and be kind to people around us. But like everything else in astrology, we must be careful with the expectation that everything will “go with the flow” and will be ok without making an effort, which is one of the weaknesses of this planetary combination. By the end of September when the Sun will be transiting the harmonious sign of Libra, Mars will enter in the analytical sign of Virgo inviting us to be careful with our actions and analyze various options from different points of view before making up our mind.

This weekend 4-6 September 2015, the Sun in Virgo harmonises with Pluto in Capricorn helping us to investigate what motivates us to channel our energies once the eclipses come. Under the Solar Eclipse on September 13, 2015, the luminaries (Sun and Moon) together in Virgo will give us the opportunity to set up goals that allow us to take the direction we want.
